Project 33 Days - Day 16

Friday, 01 July, HomeWow. It is hard to really tell or feel the tiredness that one has when "in the groove". It creeps up on you. There are times where you notice it on Wednesday at dinner with constant yawning which is of course not polite but is a sign. But the adrenaline keeps one running like that Duracell bunny, on and on, till it falls over. Battery empty, recharge needed. Not that I am at that point of needing the emergency recharge, but I am tired. Oman fell through and a small sigh of relief went out. There are just 2 weeks till holiday break and only so many things which can be attended to.So today was office day. 100's of emails were trawled and many handled but not really satisfying. I had a late call with Christian, a colleague and co-conspirator in the social media space. We are trying to find that next big thing in corporate communications. In feel really comfortable talking about plans as we are a continent apart. I do not see him as a challenge and we have just open exchanges as often as possible. We met once about 18 months ago. But this is not about work.We saw each other online today, and I knew it was an upcoming long 4th of July weekend coming. So the nice exchange of "have a good one" were sent across, but then I told him I was headed into one of those crazy European "extended summer holidays". This lead to the "where are you headed?" question. Told him we were off to Florida around the Orlando area perhaps hitting the beaches of Cocoa. Then he said, "my mother has a time share there at Cocoa", "when will you be there?". Long story short here, he is there the same time as we may be. Just too funny. Guess there is a good chance we will hook up there sometime at the end of July.Small world sometimes.
