Project 33 Days - Day 18
Wednesday, Sunderland, UKEnglish food can be really, really interesting.I love the full English breakfast. Really I do. And this is probably not too healthy. So it is good that I am not here all too often. I dream about it the evenings before, and often wake early to just get ready for the feast. Then heading down to the breakfast room I try to smell the sausages, eggs and coffee. This morning was no different. I spent the night in an old "Hall" built in 1683 or so. Lots of antlers, sitting rooms, old oil paintings and brass lamps. The room was not very business friendly for sure, small table which might have been a desk but with the lamp and all on it there was little other use. But the bed was nice and cool.Breakfast did not disappoint me. Even the coffee was nice which in the land of tea is not always an easy one. Sausages, eggs, bacon, baked beans, potato hash browns oh yummy. I do stop at the one plate and usually do not feel too guilty afterwards. Probably because I know in 36 hours I will be back at home having my own home cooked breakfast.Off to work now.
