Project 33 Days - Day 27
Monday, 20 June, HomeI thought today I might just document my movements for one day. Boring, I know, so here it goes.06.15 Alarm sounds06.35 Climb out of bed, clean room as our bi-wwekly cleaning lady is coming, argh07.10 Beat kids out of bed. Long weekend away and all are still tired07.35 drive kids to school. not sure why but I have offered to do this often the last09.00 Call from Lu, talked about her job opportunities and basically just a great exchange. Always fun talking to her12.30 Finished building presentation. Catch breath and give it a test run 13.00 Set up conference bridge, upload presentation to online server, grab coffee, dial into voice channel (will be an online presentation)13.02 Client arrives for conference15.03 Conference ends, and I am cooked. Seems to have gone well. Always weird to talk into the phone, having 12 others there listening somewhere and wondering, is anybody listening?15.20 Timmi arrives home. Others in the school late today as Jonny's class is having a presentation to parents. I am hoping to go. But now the rest of my work day is just starting. The work week ends on Wednesday this week. Long weekend, but still the same amount of work to get done.15.35 Chris arrives home and reports of a great day, or at least good discussion with her colleague regarding her career options16.00 Boss calls for bi-weekly discussion. Updated him from the last week and a few opportunities16.50 Finished the first half of work day. Now need a moment to chat with the others17.15 Catch Timmi still on the PC. Did not practice guitar as promised. Guess that is 2 days no PC time now. :-(17.30 Chris and gang head off to school. I miss the presentation. Head is not clear and so many things to still get done.18.40 At the desk again after some dinner. Microwave style. Hope for 2 more hours of production. Kids will come home shortly. Might provide a good reason to shut down.20.40 Done now. Kids still out. But I am burnt out. Nuff done for 1 day. Got some Twitter tracking of the #E2conf in Boston and some other social media stuff.Back tomorrow with a "normal" report
