On the moove, again?
I went to Düsseldorf last Friday to meet someone. I am leaving shortly to Zürich to meet someone tomorrow. What does this have in common other than each town has an umlaut? I am on the road again and it is strange.
You all know me and I have been on the road for nearly 30 years. Some years more some years less but the suitcase was always nearby and ready to roll. The person I met last Friday was a postponed meeting from last October and the same with my meeting tomorrow; 10 months delay. I am really excited to be meeting people once again as that was my promise to myself. To get out more often on my bike and go and see people. It seems almost to be a “thing” once again. I am a bit nervous though.
Not so much about contracting something I really don’t want but that the situation might change on me and I have to begin postponing my plans once again. That was the situation I was in last October. I had to put everything on hold. All the plans I had put time into to generate and the people I was going to meet. I am nervous that I might once again be let down, be disappointed and have to retract back into my office and be satisfied with Zoom sessions. Yuck.
My meeting tomorrow will happen and I will see my dear friends there once again and that is just great. My plans to travel next week are very likely to happen and all the people there I am planning to meet will likely also happen but I am a bit uneasy of leaning out too far with my planning. I have another half dozen of people here across Germany that I would like to visit before the end of the year but I am hesitant to make plans further than 6 weeks out. There is just too much which might happen in that short period of time.
Oh well, this was just a short update to share that, yes, I am on the moove again and excited to be riding out to meet people and learn new things. Oh and the bike cannot be called Podbike any more. I got a take down notice from the registered holder of that name. Oops. Guess I could have googled it myself.
Stay safe and healthy!
