My Fanbase is in Zurich?

On my last day of regular employment I wrote a post on LinkedIn where I posted a “retrospective” of my 25 years with the company. Of course any kind of post like that will get a lot of attention and it did for sure. Now, a month later it has almost 15000 views and 100s of comments plus my DMs have been wonderfully full of great, supportive conversations. Just for this I am very grateful to all those who are part of my experience. One interesting tidbit though has me wondering; by far the most number of people having viewed my post are based in Zurich, Switzerland?!?

Now, I know I have spent much time in and out of Zurich over the years and have a number of great contacts there as well but this many? The report does not show me the individuals who make up that number but I can see those who liked or commented and sure there are many from Zurich and thereby their connections as well would have the chance to see the post…blah blah blah. I really don’t look into the number much but that Zurich is the largest location kind of surprised me.

I guess it is fitting that next week I am traveling to Zurich for a few days. I have 3 podcast interviews to make and some old/new business partners to connect with as well. Travel is still quite open at least between Germany and Switzerland so I feel comfortable in going there. Of course my “pod-bike” is traveling with me even though the weather might make for some less than savoury rides. Join me on the travel by staying tuned. I will be keeping you updated.
