Sometimes, it's a Small World

On my daily walk yesterday evening I was about 2 kilometers from home, I was approached by a woman looking for directions to the nearest bus stop. As she was half way across the street towards me I saw that it was my mother-in-law Lilli. Boy the look on her face was worth a Kodak moment, but no camera handy. We walked to the bus stop and laughed how small our town was at times.About 10 days ago I was invited to present at a large customer's management event this coming Friday in Lucerne. As it is close to Nils & Stine and the meeting is late on Friday I thought to ring them and see if they were up for a visitor for a night. I got an email back from Stine this morning saying, "I was wondering who the Avaya person was going to be at the event in Lucerne this week". She is interpreting for the French speakers attending. She will be interpreting me! I told my other colleague who is also attending that I knew the interpreters at the event this week; his comment was, "you know people everywhere".Sometimes, it is a small world. :-)
