Project 33 Days - Day 3

Thursday, photo-shoot day FrankfurtSo, the day after yesterday it is. I call yesterday D-day. It was my day I was counting down to for a few weeks and it came as expected. It was full of noise, conversations and since then commentary. I am glad it is over.A friend was here last night and saw me after I left the office around 8pm. First comment was, you look terrible. And you have a photo-shoot tomorrow?!?! Then began giving me beauty advise using the cucumbers which were sliced up as salad on the table. I responded with, an athlete never changes their methods the day before a competition. So, it was for me as well.So, today was all about my midday appointment, everything else was going to wait. I had just lost all other will. At 12.30 I met Eduardo the photographer and his assistant. They came with lots of gear and picked out a spot for the shooting. It was to be in the foyer of the office in Frankfurt. Lots of windows and natural lighting as was requested by the agency in New York. But the shoot was to have me in a natural business setting, with poses of me during a normal work day. Suggested was one in conversation with a client at a desk. Problem was, there were no desks in the foyer. But no problem for Eduardo. We grabbed to tables from a nearby conference room (it was empty) and 2 chairs. With a bit of material I brought and we found we set up an office. Honestly, the shots looked really great. Actually I could see some people thinking I have that corner office with all the windows. The senior partners office. That was me. At least for 2 hours. I am sure the pictures will be seen. I will get them and use them for my own presentations as well. So, stay tuned.When the boys and Chris came home at 4pm they knew nothing of my day. I had already changed back into my home office wardrobe. Nothing like that in the pictures. I am actually excited to show the kids and a few others what I actually look like when I am with customers. Most people have never seen me at it.Suitcases are everywhere. This is the first year where everyone has their own XL suitcase. So, there is much going into them and I am busy taking many things out again. More tomorrow.
