Project 33 Days - Day 11

Wednesday, still homeMidweek again and for me that means class room day. Our virtual meeting starts at 5pm here and lasts between 90-120 minutes. But there is always something to prepare before the class begins. This week was no difference and I had to present a group mashup of things which had been created over the last weeks.Chris told me about "team" work. Meaning Toll Ein Andere Macht's (loosely, super someone else will do the work) and that is just what it was this time. I was to present and two others were to put the materials together. Leaving out all the details, it was not much team in the work there. I struggled and pushed through the 15 minutes I had but it wasn't pretty. Actually, felt pretty disappointed with the results.Home front is full of kids just wanting to hang out. This means with lots of screen time. I can't really blame them either but still my job is not to be their friend. So I get to be the bad guy often through out the day. Collecting various devices hidden under pillows on the sofa, inside of books etc. Even went out and got 5 more books for them to read. That does work often but particularly for Philip not for very long. He read the Hobbit on Saturday. The whole book - all 500+ pages. He's read 2 other books since then as well. I need a Night at the Library type experience for him.
