Project 33 Days - Day 25
22. June, HomeLast day of the 6th grade. In my world that meant they were then entering junior high next year and that was a big deal. They will remain in the same school at least. But it is the final day and they are of course happy about it. Who wouldn't be? Started the day with the regular task of me knocking them out of bed for the last time till August then a bit of breakfast. I promised to drive them to school for a final time too. I'm a softy. Back home now at 8 and it is still quiet, won't be like this again also till August. Might miss that too but first things first. This being 'Day 25' tells me there is just over 3 weeks till we head over for our summer hols as well. That seems really soon with so much still needing attention before then. I still have no idea how many customer visits I might have before then as well. It was a really nice Spring as I was home for 6 weeks straight. My regular taxi driver, Stefan, who drives me to and from the airport started worrying about me. Funny thought but I wasn't. I did miss our exchanges during the drive though. So 3 weeks...what still needs handling outside of work? Still need to organize our maxi-taxi shuttle which will take us to the airport. Stefan's taxi will not carry us all. I also need to decide what we will do the first weekend when we arrive in Charlotte. Monday we will be in Asheville but have 2 jet lagged days we could sleep under a tree somewhere and not know it wasn't the Marriott. So, there are a few things still to be attended to.
