Project 33 Days - Day 32
Woke up this morning remembering my dream. Or at least one of my dreams - belly piercing. So, if that opening line does not peak your interest I don't know what would. It was my 2nd night in Oslo and I opted out of dinner with the team as I needed rest. I am really tired from travels and the work load. 5 nights now and finally in my own bed again. But also since I am taking a social media strategy course this has added to my workload. It requires about 15-20 hours a week of reviewing the lessons, completing the exercises and preparing the presentations for the next weeks classes. Unfortunately, my regular workload has now significantly lessened as well. So, you can figure the rest. Good thing is, the course is over the day before this Project 33 ends. So my holidays will be doubly nice. But I digress.Belly piercing. Yeah, what a thought. Not a usual thought of mine I promise but it did get my attention. If any of you have an idea what this means, just add it to this post. Maybe it was the sight of the people in Oslo headed into the nightclub below my hotel window, maybe a secret desire.I spent the day at another business partner with 7 others, talking how we can make their lives better. My part was little, and like yesterday, once I mentioned we are into social media strategy development they lit up like candles. Oh well. Still more to do there. The more interesting take today was getting into a position to be online at 5 pm for my weekly lessons. To do this I had to leave the partner at 4, catch the train, get to the airport, check bags, pass security and boot my pc within 1 hour. Well, did not all work as well as thought. Train was fine, even passed security with 2 minutes to spare but getting online took 15 and the quality of the connection did not let me log into the classes tool. So, I was audio only. Bummer. But at home Jonny was ill today. Swapped with Philip it seems. Good thing that I will be there till school is out next week. Timmi is preparing for the German National Championships this weekend. He is competing in 2 categories and is getting a little nervous too. We are all headed out Friday to support him. Will of course report more from there. Should be a fun experience. On the plane now, waiting to fly, home in 2 hours. Happy time shortly.
