White Christmas - 2010
This is my first white Christmas. I have had plenty of white in the last 20 or so years, but usually early in the year and not at the end. This year shaped up to be just that year I had been waiting for for so long. We have had snow for over 2 weeks and our street has yet to be cleared. The last 2 days had warmed a bit and many of the rooftops were all clear of snow, but we still had inches on the road. And last night the temps started downward and the snows are coming down again. Just in time for Santa.Oh yeah, Santa. He has come and gone already. Family is watching "Home Alone" all together now, while I get this post out. I wanted to try to get a better use of this blog as it has been come and go for a while now. I tried other social media outlets but when life needs to be cooked down to 144 characters to talk about how life is, well, it just did not cut it for me.So, here we are. Germany has had their Christmas joy. There was tempered speed this time. All the boys respective of the others joy of opening their presents and sharing that with the crowd. Sure it took longer for us to get through it all but it was really nice. The inlaws now live just over the road from here and that makes all the logistics that much easier also.Merry Christmas to all. Back to the movie. Much more about my athletic plans for 2011 coming next week here.Stay tuned!
