Off to the Arctic Circle

Tomorrow I am off to the northern most place I have yet to visit. I have a 3 day visit to Bodø, Norway - 67°N latitude. This is about 200K north of the Artic Circle. I read last week that some of the towns there just go their first daylight since the end of last year. This should be interesting.I have spent the last 5 months in southern Norway. Seems that this long country is about the distance of most of Europe. It is very narrow but really long. So tomorrow it is up north. First through Oslo then for the trip to Bodø. I hope to have a bit of time to see a little while there. It is at the coast and on the fjörde so I hope for some spectacular views. That is if the sun is up much. This time of year I really enjoy the lenghtening days and this is a trip in the wrong direction. But it is a final trip up there. I am tired now from all the travel and all the training. It has been pretty tough. 4 days a week of riding and 2-3 weeks a month of business travel. Two weeks till the beginning of the season and hopefully some more rest. Again this morning I was up at 5am for a 3 hour ride out through the valley here. I have a really cool picture from my new camera phone which I still need to download. Get that out tomorrow.Couple days of rest now and some new experiences. Stay tuned.
