Timmi, Biathlon 1st place 2011

For a second year running, Tim took the top place in this years kayak/run biathlon. This was the 4th time he took part at this event and has been taking 2 minutes off his times each year. He has been improving, as his body is growing as well, on the water.

Muscles are growing and that strength makes him do well in an event like the down and back 1.1km course. The run was never his favorite piece, actually one of the reasons he chose kayak over other sports in the beginning. But that as well has gotten better and the 1.1km run is done without a stop now. All this makes it a more enjoyable event for him.

This year we had wonderful weather. The 1st of October is never a guarantee but with temps in the mid 20sC and blue skies everyone enjoyed the day.
