Project 33 Days - Day 8
Saturday, summer day at homeLooks like I will be home till we fly next Saturday and that is just fine. All other travels have fallen apart or are past my time. So, I can focus on getting things done and getting the family ready to travel. That part is always a lot of fun.I bought 2 new suitcases last week. Actually bought them on points from Lufthansa as I have collected so many. Two really nice large or XL size. Needed them as the airlines have changed their rules for the number of cases. Now only one per person checked is allowed. So, that meant I needed a couple of new additions. They arrived Friday and both Jonny and Timmi are now all busy with thoughts and plans of packing for the journey. To me it seems still so far away and what does it take to get a few shirts and shorts in a suitcase? But that is my world and theirs sees it differently. The garden party last night was a success. They camped in the garden, heading to sleep around 3am. You can guess what they look like right now at 10pm. Women's soccer champs are on now. Germany playing Japan in the second half, still 0-0. Has at least Jonny interested. Chris is very busy on a final deliverable for her practical training. A report of some 40 pages it seems. She is busy. I have spent the day away from the office. Tomorrow may be different.Cycled again today brutal. I seem to have lost it all. Pulse never under 170. Don't worry, it is often very high even with a resting pulse of 50 or so. Hope my sister does not WMA this summer. Worried.
