Project 33 Days - Day 24
Thursday, 23. June HomeHoliday time. Boyz are finally off of school and the stress is beginning. I am so glad that the summer holidays here are only 6 weeks. Thinking of Jody where the kids are off for 3 months. Yikes. Now I understand why a two week away camp is starting to sound like a good idea.Jonny is worried about his facial hair. Came to us last night after having washing his face and feels the shadow over his lip looks horrible. Ok, here we go. I am not completely sure but I guess I started shaving when I was 14. Kind of runs in the family. Still could shave twice a day even now. Wish only it would grow more on the top of my head.Timmi is here for 2 days then off to France with his club (30 in all) for 8 days of camp with the boats. No competitions, just fun. Now that sounds really nice. Philip is considering giving up piano. It has been 2 years and although he has tried some, it really just never took off. His piano teacher told him that he needs a sport. Now he is occupied with that terrible thought.Christine had her talk with her boss this week and everything is just hunky-dory. she was really worried that she can't handle 40 hours now with the boys heading into the 7th grade. She needs some time working less before she can then jump back into the circus full time. He is so full of her capabilities that he will make it work. What a surprise. Not!My days are still 12-15 hours of work. The weekends are a little less. I have cancelled my holiday which I had planned for tomorrow. The training course which I am doing is really great. Actually a lot of fun too but it needs 10-15 hours a week to do it well. And that is on top of my 40+ hour workweek I already had. It was a mistake to take this course now with so much work but now with only 3.5 weeks left it is just nose to the grinder. There will be great things coming as well soon regarding my work and that has me for the first time in a long time really excited. So, we are headed out for a short walk, or hike through the forest here; the whole family. We can actually do that. Not sure how much longer that will present itself.
