Been there, done that

Oh boy. This I almost do not miss. I can't get old enough, fast enough.Chris is writing her dissertation. Well, more accurately she has been writing since before Christmas 1988 (ok, 2010) and it is due Monday. I seem to have been through this once before. Back in the dark ages. Somewhere in the last century. And it was painful then also. Just I was new here and found it all quite amusing.So, here we are again. How can you time the writing of a 100 page paper down to the hour; the minute it is due? Here it is Friday evening and it is not done. Well, I think it is, but then who am I? The stress level has been rising for more than a week now. Expect it to burst here anytime now. Hope to be out of the way when it comes.Last time when it was completed, and the bound copies were picked up at the printers. They stopped off at the Christmas market on their way to submit the papers. The first glass of mulled wine went pouring across one of their copies. YIKES!Well, Christmas market time has pasted. Hope that no other disaster occurs....stay tuned.
