Race morning - Frankfurt 2010

Gotta blog this better but no time to do that this morning.Up early again, 30 min before my alarm. :-) That is not unusual, nerves had me busy during the night. Big race today. Actually pretty relaxed about it. It is the 3rd time here so I know the routine now. I have a neighbor across the street who is also riding, first timer. He is more of a tri guy but is riding the flatter 70K ride while I head into the hills for the 105K loop. He was asking all kinds of fun questions for someone who has never been to a larger organized event. See what happens.Should be fun. Hope better than last year. Cramps a crash and just total exhaustion were my memories from 2009. They took out the final "stich" or ramp from this year's race. That was my biggest complaint too. 18% near the end for guys like me is not fair. The pros can ride that but it was just ugly for so many.Check back later. Timmi is off for a kayak camp weekend again. Was in France 2 weeks ago. Jonny has a birthday party, soccer club for the first time in a while. Now the arm has healed he can do this again. Titanium still in the arm. Philip.....he loves just hanging out at the weekend. Couple of friends will come by and they will do silly stuff. Chris, not sure. Guess just hoping I get home well for the moment.
