European Tour, Spring 2005

After a months break in Florida, spending some time with the family and friends i came back to the same old drag. After closing out the deplyoment of our solution it was time to re-visit all the sites to tune them up a bit. This means visiting each of the 7 locations across Europe. I had a few days to get over the jetlag then it was off to Helsinki for two day then te rest of the week in Madrid. It was my first time in Madrid and we spent the time in the evenings getting to know the big city and its lures. Tapas and red wine were enjoyed as well as some long walks around the inner city. All in all a nice but brief visit.Theni had a week in London on a training course which was nice. Seeing some old collegues. And a break from the project. Then this last week was 3 days in Brussels which was only work and little fun. But it was an early end to the week as it was Father's Day here and the Friday after was a nice day spent at home.Next week has me in Germany, up north a bit then off to Edinburgh again for 3 days. That is the plan for 4 of the 7 locations. There are more flights and cities to see before this part is over.
